TU/e one of the first with latest AI supercomputer from NVIDIA, with world's most powerful AI platform

Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) is expected to be one of the first European customers to receive an NVIDIA DGX B200 system.

Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) is expected to be one of the first European customers to receive an NVIDIA DGX B200 system. The supercomputer - expected to be operational in the first half of 2025 - will give TU/e's research in areas such as AI a strong boost.

TU/e already uses several supercomputers, but the need for more powerful, high-performance computing is growing exponentially with the rise of AI in various research fields.

This also demonstrates our commitment to being a leader in AI, which will help attract talent and resources, and encourage collaboration.”

Sustainable data center

The initial setup consists of four NVIDIA DGX B200 systems, each powered by eight NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, with the ability to scale up as needed. NVIDIA DGX B200 systems provide a unified platform for developing and deploying pipelines for a variety of AI workloads. The systems are installed in a sustainable data center in Finland. The DGX B200 systems are “industrial-grade,” enabling collaboration with industry.
