The new group of scale-ups that will participate in Rise, the growth program that helps Dutch tech companies break through more quickly, has been announced. The selection consists of nine scale-ups that are active in fintech, cybersecurity, and travel tech, among others.

The selected companies stand out due to their international success. On average, 70% of their revenue is generated outside the Netherlands. Together, they employ an average of 204 people per company, have a combined annual revenue of over €210 million, and average funding of €37 million. Six of the nine teams are (co-)led by women, and two grew without external investment.

Although these scale-ups are already growing strongly, they are also encountering new barriers to growth in this phase. The Rise program has been specially developed to support them in this phase. In an intensive eight-week program, they work on their most important challenges with the support of experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and other founders.

Since the program began, over 300 companies have participated and raised hundreds of millions in capital to enter new markets.
