Lex Hoefsloot, the long-time head of solar car Lightyear and one of the most prominent representatives of the Dutch startup scene, will be the first speaker at the Benelux tech startup event LEVEL UP 2025. Constantijn van Oranje will also be present on that day.

After three successful editions in 2022, 2023, and 2024, the organizers of LEVEL UP are gearing up for the fourth edition. The event is an initiative of The Gate, the Brabant Development Agency (BOM), and Braventure and will take place on Monday, September 29, at the Evoluon in Eindhoven.

During the event, startups will have the opportunity to strengthen their businesses with new knowledge and the experience of other founders. With a focus on the Benelux, LEVEL UP is once again looking beyond borders.

A must for every startup

The fourth edition of LEVEL UP promises to be an exciting day full of inspiration, knowledge, and networking. “A must for every tech startup and the startup ecosystem,” says Brigit van Dijk-Van de Reijt of BOM. “We hope to welcome around 2,000 visitors this year.”

The event will feature a mix of keynotes, workshops, panel sessions, and networking opportunities. The first special guest has been confirmed: Lex Hoefsloot. On January 17, 2024, he handed over the reins at Lightyear and stepped down from his position. It was the provisional finale of a breathtaking journey for the TU student who wanted to get a solar car on the road and, with considerable courage, almost succeeded. During LEVEL UP 2025, Hoefsloot will discuss the fine line between success and failure.

Tickets for LEVEL UP can be reserved via this link.
