There are countless events and lectures organized for innovation professionals every year. Can't see the forest for the trees anymore? Or do you need some inspiration? Good news! Every month, IO provides you with an overview of exciting events for that period. Whether you are interested in artificial intelligence, sustainability, or healthcare, there is something for everyone. We group them by region.
Northern Netherlands
- Want to know more about public participation in energy decision-making, in particular in what ways people want to be involved in energy decision-making and how that affects their acceptability? During this lecture, Goda Perlaviciute, associate professor of environmental psychology, will tell you all about this topic.
- CJIB, DICTU, DUO, RUG, and UMCG are jointly organizing the IT Engineering Congress. Administrators from several large organizations come together to share knowledge in areas such as security, data usage, automation, AI, and much more. The keynote speaker is Brenno de Winter, a specialist in IT security and privacy.
- Successful innovation requires breakthrough technologies that can solve major problems. These technologies often emerge from academic research labs. Innovation Day, organized by RUG Ventures and VentureLab North, provides a unique platform for innovators from the RUG and UMCG to showcase their work to investors. This year's focus is on Deep Technologies.
Eastern Netherlands
- F&A NextF&A Next is about thought leadership and connecting promising startups and scale-ups to dedicated Food & Agtech investors and leading corporates. It includes two days of networking, pitching and debating the dynamics in food and agriculture.
- The mobility sector faces enormous challenges. An integral approach is needed to jointly address all these challenges facing the sector. The Mobility Congress is the meeting place for all stakeholders involved in the transformation of mobility concepts.
- The call for innovation in industry is louder than ever before. At a time when new laws and regulations determine the course of organizations, it becomes necessary to put sustainability at the center. During Smart Industry, strategic sustainability will take center stage. Please note that the organization screens participants, and seating is limited.
Southern Netherlands
- In May, healthcare leaders, professionals, government officials, patients, companies, and developers will gather in Maastricht. The focus will be on solutions and opportunities to improve healthcare transformation with innovative technologies and new financial models.
- The theme of the fifth edition of the Fe+male Tech Heroes Conference is "From FemTech Lows to Glows. Get ready for thought-provoking discussions, groundbreaking achievements and heartfelt stories that will inspire every tech enthusiast. For everyone who loves tech and strives for gender equality in this sector.
- From software systems to reduce paperwork to fully autonomous robots the Vision, Robotics & Motion trade fair will take visitors into the world of automation and digitalization on June 5 and 6, 2024. In the Brabanthallen in Den Bosch, the most advanced cobots and the most accurate vision technology will be on the showcase.
Western Netherlands
- The landmark event in the industry’s calendar, the World Hydrogen 2024 Summit & Exhibition, is the largest and most senior global hydrogen event, and it returns to Rotterdam with its biggest edition yet.
- TNW Conference is a technology event in the greater Amsterdam area, where industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and tech enthusiasts come together, to explore how tech will help us reclaim the future.
- The two day conference will become a must-attend event for Nanotechnology to hear about future infrastructure projects plans, government strategies, and market-leading innovation. This year’s conference will cover a broad range of Nanotechnology topics, including Advanced Nanomaterials and Nano Technology, Recent Developments and Advanced Research in Nanotechnology, and much more.
