Hi Delta finds innovation power at Mechatronics Innovation Campus

Hi Delta, which aims to connect the manufacturing industry in South Holland with network meetings, knowledge sessions, company visits, or events, is seeking closer cooperation with the Mechatronics Innovation Campus Schiedam (MICS). André Boer (director of Hi Delta) and Niels Langenhuizen (director of SDK Vastgoed and MICS developer) gave the go-ahead for this in Schiedam last week. For MICS, this partnership provides an opportunity to further develop as an innovation hub in the region. The cooperation was ratified during the monthly Break to Innovate.

MICS provides Hi Delta with the desired space for innovation, talent, and collaboration so companies and educational institutions can succeed even more. For MICS, a strong ecosystem in which talent development, innovation, and collaboration are central is the key to success. A strong network is crucial to this. Hi Delta offers that possibility, making the cooperation with MICS a step forward for both parties.

The Mechatronics Campus is under construction and aims to become the hotspot for the mechatronics industry in South Holland. Several Hi Delta partners, such as Metrohm, Boers & Co, and FMI, are already part of MICS. Through the proximity of knowledge, talent and innovation, MICS and Hi Delta together ensure that the South Holland manufacturing industry can develop optimally. “Together with MICS, we contribute to the positioning of South Holland as a leader in the technological sector,” says André Boer.
