Avy, a pioneer in autonomous and sustainable drones, has entered into a strategic partnership with the Royal Netherlands Aerospace Center (NLR). NLR has acquired a latest-generation unmanned aerial vehicle for testing and operational evaluation.
Avy develops autonomous professional drones. The Aera 4 Fixed-Wing UAV is designed for applications in emergency services, monitoring & inspection and healthcare logistics. Known for its emission-free and autonomous flight performance, this drone is being integrated into NLR's research programs. The Aera's capabilities, such as long-range flights of up to 100 km and advanced safety features, make it an ideal choice for NLR's pioneering initiatives.
The collaboration between NLR and Avy goes beyond product implementation. NLR will conduct a comprehensive audit of Avy's operations. This process is aimed at ensuring that Avy's processes meet industry standards and deliver optimal performance in product design, manufacturing, implementation and regulatory compliance.
