Twelve ambitious AI startups have been selected to compete in the AI Pitch Competition. The finals are on November 7, 2024, and Innovation Origins will portray each contestant in the run-up to that event. The AI Pitch Competition is a Brabant-based organization that aims to spotlight the most innovative AI solutions, offering startups the opportunity to present their ideas, connect with industry leaders, and accelerate their growth. Today, we show what BrainBite has in store for the world. Sayed Shahidi, founder and CEO, answers our questions.
BrainBite aims to offer educational tools closely connected to the children's needs. Learning at their own pace and with what they individually enjoy, while the parent always maintains overview and control. In Brainbite's own words: "Together, we make learning fun, effective and personal."
"BrainBite leverages AI mentorship and personalized learning paths tailored specifically to children's unique learning needs. The core AI technology utilizes adaptive learning algorithms that adjust based on a child's progress and preferences. Unlike other platforms, BrainBite incorporates real-time mentorship that goes beyond static content delivery, offering 24/7 on-demand support for children. This allows BrainBite to stand out in the EdTech space by focusing on truly interactive, personalized learning experiences, rather than one-size-fits-all educational models."
"Our AI solution is highly scalable as it operates through cloud-based infrastructure, allowing us to expand globally without hardware restrictions. The challenges anticipated primarily include localization of content for different languages and curricula, as well as adjusting the AI to regional learning standards. However, the platform’s modular nature allows for easy adaptation to different markets."

"BrainBite’s mission is to democratize education by making high-quality learning accessible to all children, including those with learning differences. We are dedicated to bridging the gap between traditional schooling and personalized learning needs, helping to reduce educational inequalities across different demographics. Sayed Shahidi: "Launching BrainBite has not been without its hurdles, with the biggest challenge being finding the right balance between educational rigor and engaging content. Our growth strategy focuses on partnerships with educational institutions and parents, who serve as advocates for our platform."
Sayed Shahidi: "We are fully GDPR-compliant and are closely following the developments of the AI Act and other regulatory frameworks around data privacy and AI decision-making. This has guided our innovation process, ensuring that we not only meet current regulations but also proactively adapt to future laws."
"Our long-term vision is to be a global leader in AI-driven education, evolving our technology to become more intuitive, proactive, and integrated into daily learning routines. Over the next 5-10 years, we see BrainBite becoming the go-to platform for personalized education, expanding into more markets while continuing to innovate in AI mentorship."
