Healthtech innovator Autoscriber<\/a> has raised \u20ac1.2 million in seed capital from the Brabant Development Company (BOM) and LUMO Labs. This round of investment comes at a time when the declining number of medical professionals is putting our healthcare systems under increasing pressure. Together with an ageing population and the need to digitise processes and records, this means that
doctors and nurses worldwide are experiencing an unsustainable workload.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“There is huge potential to make healthcare more data-driven and thus ease the pressure on the system,” says Koen Bonenkamp, co-founder of Autoscriber. The challenge is that a data-driven approach to patient care requires a lot of patient data. In practice, doctors do not have the time to complete EHRs in the way they are designed. Many valuable insights are lost because data is captured in a sub-optimal format or not at all.<\/p>\n\n\n

Expanding the team<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

“We are delighted to support this team in optimizing their product even further,” says Robin Hendrickx, Investment Manager at BOM. “Autoscriber leverages data and AI to significantly reduce doctors’ administrative workload, allowing doctors to get back to providing care and helping patients better.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Autoscriber plans to use the new capital to expand the team. “Besides adding more technical brainpower, we have also managed to secure some exceptional operational and commercial strengths.
