All PhotonDelta<\/a> partners will have access to the design tools of Synopsys Inc<\/a> to accelerate innovation and commercial success. The mutual collaboration, which is especially beneficial to photonics startups, was agreed upon during the PIC Summit Europe<\/a>, held on November 8 and 9 in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Details of the collaboration have not been disclosed, but will be shared with PhotonDelta partners via a webinar that will be announced soon. <\/p>\n\n\n

Synopsys is a global leader in electronic design automation (EDA), semiconductor IP, and application security testing tools and services. The partnership with PhotonDelta aims at educating, training, and supporting photonic chip startups and providing access to Synopsys\u2019 industry-leading Photonic IC, Digital, and Analog design solutions. The shared goal and vision of accelerating the adoption of photonic IC technology is the driver behind this new partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an ecosystem that researches, designs, develops and manufactures solutions with integrated photonics technology, PhotonDelta\u2019s mission is to strengthen and expand the PIC value chain. By enabling a world-class infrastructure with state-of-the-art design tools and flows, this collaboration will foster the start-up ecosystem and help them scale up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PIC Summit Europe 2022<\/em><\/a> is a new congress, one of two photonic chip conferences in Europe and will return annually.
