Auch die Verstoffwechselung chemischer Substanzen im K\u00f6rper kann durch Tritium markierte Molek\u00fcle beobachtet werden, so dass Chemiker das Verfahren gern f\u00fcr die Beurteilung und Testung von Arzneimittelkandidaten verwenden. Ein Team vom Max-Planck-Institut f\u00fcr Kohlenforschung in M\u00fchlheim an der Ruhr hat nun eine neue Methode entdeckt, komplexe kleine Molek\u00fcle gezielt mit Tritium zu markieren. In einem gemeinsamen Forschungsprojekt mit dem Pharmakonzern Roche haben sie Wege zum Einbau von Tritium in Pharmazeutika und \u00e4hnliche Molek\u00fcle untersucht, die f\u00fcr die Arzneimittelforschung wichtige Derivate darstellen, so Max-Planck Gesellschaft in einer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mpg.de\/18044355\/homogeneous-hydrogenolysis-palladium\">Pressemeldung<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Forschenden haben sich die besonderen Eigenschaften von Arylthianthrenium Salzen zu Nutze gemacht, die in der Abteilung von Tobias Ritter am Max-Planck-Institut f\u00fcr Kohlenforschung entwickelt worden waren und es erm\u00f6glichen, komplexe Molek\u00fcle direkt und vorhersagbar selektiv zu funktionalisieren. \u201eDas Besondere an unserer neuen Arbeit ist die Reaktion von Arylpseudohalogeniden mit Wasserstoff, die erstmals durch einen homogenen Katalysator erm\u00f6glicht wurde\u201c, erkl\u00e4rt Tobias Ritter. \u201eDiese Reaktion war mit herk\u00f6mmlichen Gruppen, die man in Pharmazeutika einf\u00fchren konnte, bislang nicht bekannt. Bislang genutzte heterogene Katalysatoren zerst\u00f6rten oft andere funktionelle Gruppen, die gerade in Pharmazeutika h\u00e4ufig zu finden sind\u201c, so der Forschungsdirektor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dar\u00fcber hinaus gibt es noch einen weiteren Mehrwert f\u00fcr Arzneimitteltester: Die Tritium Markierung der Arylthiantreniumsalze erfordert keine inerte Atmosph\u00e4re oder trockene Bedingungen und ist somit praktisch in der Anwendung.
