The two made the finals of the\u00a0Get In The Ring Contest after a competition between more than 5,000 startups from 100 countries around the globe.<\/p>\n<p>The final 6 startups participated in three different categories for the title of Global Winner. LifeSense Group, which creates wearables with\u00a0healthcare applications\u00a0for women, won the prestigious competition in the heavyweight category. Valer Pop: \u201cOur aim is to impact the life of every woman on the planet and solve a worldwide problem that nobody speaks about with a spoken out solution\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A jury consisting of three \u2018champions\u2019 chose the winning startups out of 6 participants in the final. Over 5,000 startups took part in the competition, of which only 150 startups were chosen to fly to Singapore for the Global Final. James Tan, Managing Partner of Quest Ventures, was responsible for the judging together with serial entrepreneur Jay Krishnan and Singaporean angel investor Shao-Ning Huang.
