Well, you really did just lose an hour if you are living in the Netherlands. As we’ve just switched over to daylight saving time. So, you woke up an hour later and actually lost a whole hour to do Sunday stuff. This could mean you might have had to skip your morning walk with the dogs or couldn’t just laze in bed and finish off reading the Saturday newspaper.<\/p>\n

Of course, you had anticipated this and had worked harder yesterday, right? Or will you do things faster or more in brief today? Imagine if we had a machine to help us with this; a time-travel machine where we could turn back the knob just a bit and still have an extra hour to spare with our kids or take a stroll along the beach in the bright spring sunshine. A lot is possible now already. And incidentally, recently there was this very special flight that took off in 2017 in Shanghai that landed in San Francisco in 2016. One of my friends was on it – so he was actually time-traveling \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

For now, I think it’s fine just the way it is. More and longer hours of daylight do help me at least, in combination with those early birds singing at sunrise which create this symphony of light and sound that energizes my day. Something that I really do need right at this moment, since it looks as if I got to bed far too late yesterday…. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
