The one person with the best idea will join the Global Solutions Program (GSP), a 9-week educational program held each year from June through August at the Singularity University campus at the NASA Research Park in Silicon Valley.\u00a0The value of the prize is \u20ac50,000 and is fully covered by SingularityU The Netherlands.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The 2017 SingularityU The Netherlands Global Impact Challenge\u00a0is aiming to find the most innovative Dutch entrepreneurs with moonshot ideas that leverage exponential technology to prevent or mitigate the impact and consequences of climate change&#8221;, a spokesperson of SingularityU says.<\/p>\n<p>Singularity University\u2019s Global Impact Challenges\u00a0are held all around the world, in partnership with local sponsor organizations and organized by region and theme. &#8220;These challenges\u00a0act as a platform to identify entrepreneurs, leaders, scientists and engineers with the most innovative ideas that could positively impact millions of lives locally and globally within the next 3-5 years.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/118085554\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Singularity University has identified 12 <a href=\"https:\/\/su.org\/about\/global-grand-challenges\/\" target=\"_blank\">Global Grand Challenges<\/a> \u2013 worldwide problems that are too big to ignore.
