Ze komen daar om kennis te delen en inspiratie op te doen. De focus op startups is vanzelfsprekend sterk, maar elk jaar zijn er ook wel een paar thema&#8217;s die eruit springen. Dit jaar waren dat vooral AI, AR en VR. Wat? Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality en Virtual Reality.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Die laatste categorie had ook een Eindhovense representant: Detlef la Grand. Hij presenteerde zich daar met zijn bedrijf <a href=\"http:\/\/vrmaster.co\" target=\"_blank\">VRmaster<\/a> (waar ook e52 mee samenwerkt) als h\u00e9t platform voor virtual reality. Dat dat niet vanzelf gaat, blijkt wel uit het feit dat er zoveel VR is op SXSW.<\/p>\n<p>Toch gelooft La Grand dat er ruimte voor zijn bedrijf is, zo zei hij tegenover <a href=\"http:\/\/fastmovingtargets.nl\/2016\/03\/16\/nl-op-sxsw-vrmaster-wil-het-platform-voor-virtual-reality-worden\/\" target=\"_blank\">Fastmoving Targets<\/a>. \u201cEr is ruimte voor ons omdat we onafhankelijk zijn. We werken op alle platformen.\u201d La Grand is zo\u2019n groot fan van VR omdat je ermee kunt tijdreizen.
