Since today<\/a>, business owners have the opportunity to apply for subsidies for charging points on their premises. The government funding is intended to facilitate the transition to electric vans and trucks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first scheme available is the Private Charging Infrastructure at Businesses Subsidy Scheme (SPRILA). It opened at 9 a.m. this morning. Small and medium-sized companies can be reimbursed up to 40 percent of their incurred costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A 20 percent subsidy applies to large companies, and they can use the Public Charging Infrastructure Heavy Transport Subsidy Scheme (SPULA) from October 1. The Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO) has also indicated that funding is available for advisory services.<\/p>\n\n\n

At the end of March 2024, the Netherlands could count on 674,000 charging points, thirty percent more than the previous period.<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

Stationary battery<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If there is insufficient capacity on the electricity grid, entrepreneurs can also apply for subsidies to purchase a stationary battery. One of the challenges in setting up charging infrastructure is the limited capacity of the electricity grid. In some cases, a proprietary battery solution can be useful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
