This advanced robot offers a sustainable alternative to chemical pesticides and manual weed control by autonomously scanning crops and removing weeds.

Thijs Geerse, owner of We Grow Organic, had the honor of commissioning one of the first Maverick robots. “The Odd.Bot weeding robot offers a sustainable alternative to manual weeding, which is becoming increasingly costly and labor intensive,” Geerse said. “The robot works autonomously, day and night, which significantly increases our efficiency. Remarkably, the robot recognizes and removes young and small weeds even better than human weeders. Whereas other systems quickly cost several tons, this solution is within reach for any professional grower. This makes sustainable weed control accessible to a broad group of growers.”

These robots boost productivity on Dutch soil

Today is Robotics Day.
