The Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) has introduced a pilot Vidi program<\/a> to increase the number of women in higher scientific positions. Proposals with similar scores will be given preference to women, ensuring more female scientists secure Vidi grants. Proposals with the highest final scores will automatically receive a Vidi grant. However, when scores are close to the funding threshold, preference will be given to female candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
