Alphabeats<\/a> will be present and demonstrate its unique method of relaxing through music. The system combines personal music selection with neurofeedback from a wearable EEG headset. This stimulates the brain to produce ‘alpha’ waves, leading to deep relaxation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This startup is not only targeting the consumer market, but also professional athletes. In collaboration with Garmin, it is investigating how athletes can get into a flow faster, which benefits their performance. The startup won the CES 2023 Innovation award last year, and was also the winner of the ninth round<\/a> of the Gerard & Anton Awards.<\/p>\n\n\n

The platform has already been successfully implemented at European manufacturers such as FrieslandCampina and BMW Group. EZ-GO contributes to better quality processes and products and gives employees more ownership of their work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to EZ-GO, factory operators can use checklists to prevent accidents and errors. This practical application of technology shows that innovation is not always about complicated gadgets, but also about improving daily operations.<\/p>\n\n\n

FlowBeams<\/a> is developing a needle-free injection technology. The technology uses a liquid pushed through a narrow conductor using laser-generated bubbles, allowing the liquid to penetrate the skin. This process could eventually eliminate traditional needles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FlowBeams’ innovation could lead to more efficient and less stressful medical treatments. It shows a future where fear of needles is no longer a barrier to essential medical care.<\/p>\n\n\n

AMES for home monitoring<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

AMES<\/a> is developing a technology for remote monitoring of patients with lung disease COPD. AMES’ technology makes it possible to perform analyses of a patient’s lung condition during high-flow oxygen therapy. This can prevent hospital admissions. Their technique, which essentially measures changes in breathing patterns, provides physicians with support for timely interventions. Currently, the final phase of prototype development is being completed, and clinical trials are being conducted at the same time to validate the effectiveness of the technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BREGGZ: In-ear computers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

BREGGZ<\/a> are special wireless in-ear earphones. These earphones, custom-made for the wearer, contain more and better speakers than regular in-ear earphones and completely cover the ears to isolate external sounds. Sound settings can be adjusted via an app. The in-ear computer can also be used for AI assistance in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
