He chooses a subject, makes a drawing, and we take it from there.

</details>

Good intentions, greenwashing, or drop in the bucket; whatever the case, Coca-Cola regularly invests in developments that could make their most important products a little less harmful. A few years ago, we reported that the Brightlands start-up Ioniqa was allowed to work on making Coke bottles from recycled plastic. And now there is the news that two renowned universities will try to capture CO2 and turn it into Coca-Carbonic Acid.

I had to search for it for a while, but “Taste the Feeling” is Coca-Cola’s official slogan. Of course, this new bubbles feature fits right in with that. If the user’s feeling is good, the drink will taste better. Albert Jan Rasker wonders – rightly so – whether side effects are not to be expected with that feeling. The marketing department still has a job to do.

Earthquakes

Unfortunately, there was also less cheerful news. In addition to the ongoing war in Ukraine, there were earthquakes in Syria and Turkey. It prompted us to look at ways technology and science can help mitigate or even prevent new misery.
