Het Maritime Equipment Technology Institute van de Jiangsu University of Science & Technology heeft voor de productie van warmtewisselaars de 3D-metaalprinttechnologie van Additive Industries gekozen. De deal, de eerste order van Additive Industries in China, kon op de tweede dag van de 7e jaarlijkse Additive World Conference in Eindhoven worden gesloten. Additive Industries won de aanbesteding en de\u00a0MetalFAB1 moet nu de universiteit helpen om de productie van warmtewisselaars voor Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) toepassingen te versnellen.<\/p>\n
“We zijn er trots op dat we het eerste systeem in China hebben verkocht, omdat dit onze expansie in de regio Azi\u00eb-Pacific ondersteunt”, aldus Mike Goh, General Manager van Additive Industries Asia Pacific. Additive Industries voert de klus uit vanuit het onlangs geopende regionale Process & Application Development Centre in Singapore.<\/p>\n
De overeenkomst met de Chinezen volgt op het besluit om Sinsun-Tech Corporation Ltd aan te stellen als lokale agent van Additive Industries.
