Siemens wil met de keuze voor BIC dichter bij andere innovatieve startups en bedrijven zitten. Ook ziet Siemens voordelen in de koppeling aan het onderwijs: Summa College wordt op de campus de directe buurman.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/innovationorigins.com\/nl\/?s=brainport+industries+campus\"><em><strong>Meer over BIC hier<\/strong><\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/innovationorigins.com\/nl\/?s=siemens\"><em><strong>Meer over Siemens hier<\/strong><\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Siemens krijgt op de BIC werkplekken voor 150 medewerkers en daarnaast trainings- en ontmoetingsruimten. Tevens wordt het bedrijf onderdeel van het groeiende interne ecosysteem van Brainport Industries Campus. Dat betekent dat Siemens gebruik kan maken van de gedeelde paviljoens, het logistieke systeem en de gezamenlijke events. De verhuizing is gepland voor dit najaar.<\/p>\n<p>Bas Kuper van Siemens ziet in de BIC-omgeving cde ruimte die zijn bedrijf nodig heeft. &#8220;We komen met onze software-oplossingen midden in de high tech maakindustrie. De grote en kleine partijen die hier al gevestigd zijn, zijn ideale samenwerkingspartners voor ons. Daarnaast verwacht ik dat wij ook de andere BIC-bewoners veel te bieden hebben. Onze showrooms en ontmoetingsruimten zullen daarbij zeker van pas komen. Innovatie en digitalisering zijn voor ons meer dan een zakelijk concept: dit is waar we in geloven en waar we goed in zijn. Daar kan onze omgeving van mee profiteren.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Volgens Ferdinand Gremmen, directeur van <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sdkvastgoed.nl\/\">SDK Vastgoed<\/a> (VolkerWessels) en verantwoordelijk voor Brainport Industries Campus is de komst van Siemens een bevestiging van het belang van de rol en positie van BIC. &#8220;Tegelijk maakt het ons geweldig trots dat een wereldspeler als Siemens voor ons heeft gekozen.
