After the official state visit to the Netherlands, the president of Singapore, Halimah Yacob, visited Eindhoven. Additive Industries seized the opportunity to announce its Process & Application Development Center in Singapore.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Additive Industries will build this into a regional hub for local development and customer support. In addition to a local role, the Singapore development centre will also have a global function. Singapore is an ideal stepping stone for Additive Industries\u2019 growth ambitions in the Asia-Pacific region. It has a great infrastructure, it\u2019s an excellent fit for its target markets and the governmental support accelerates the execution of the project.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe presence of Additive Industries in Singapore will deepen our Industry 4.0 capabilities, and accelerate the adoption of additive manufacturing technologies across key sectors such as aerospace, marine and offshore, medical technology, and semiconductors. We welcome Additive Industries to our manufacturing ecosystem as it joins the community of over 1600 Dutch companies in Singapore\u201d, said Mr Chang Chin Nam, Executive Director of the Singapore Economic Development Board.<\/p>\n

“Singapore already has six additive manufacturing centres, which means that people there are well-trained. The knowledge is very well developed and when based in Singapore, you can easily make the leap to other Asian countries. The facility we are going to build will be bridging the gap between the technology we develop in Eindhoven and the application of the customer. The Singaporean staff will team up with the client to determine how they can exploit our technology to the fullest”, said Daan Kersten, CEO of Additive Industries to Innovation Origins.<\/p>\n
