Dat is geen trendbreuk, zo constateert CBS in een vandaag gepubliceerde paper over de staat van de industrie in Nederland, maar wel een versteviging van een al aanwezige verdeling. De toegevoegde waarde van de industrie voor Zuid-Oost Brabant is in twintig jaar tijd ruim verdubbeld, van iets meer dan 4 miljard euro naar bijna 9 miljard. Het belang van Groot-Amsterdam \u2013 twintig jaar geleden nog op de derde plaats qua industrie\u0308le toegevoegde waarde &#8211; neemt af. Daar is de industrie in de afgelopen twintig jaar niet meer gegroeid.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbs.nl\/-\/media\/_pdf\/2018\/31\/2018ep33%20industriele%20landschap.pdf\"><em><strong>Lees hier de complete paper\u00a0&#8220;Het industri\u00eble landschap&#8221; van het CBS (pdf)<\/strong><\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;De industrie is nog steeds van groot belang voor de economie, vooral buiten de Randstad&#8221;, zo schrijft CBS. &#8220;De belangrijkste industri\u00eble regio\u2019s van Nederland zijn Zuidoost-Noord-Brabant en Groot Rijnmond. Die koppositie hadden ze twintig geleden ook al. Wel lijkt er een verschuiving plaats te vinden van het zwaartepunt van de industrie van het westen naar het zuiden van Nederland, met name Noord-Brabant.&#8221; Brabant heeft dat vooral te danken aan de kracht van de elektrotechnische en machine-industrie.<\/p>\n<p>Dat heeft ook gevolgen voor de werkgelegenheid:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.ioplus.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Screen-Shot-2018-08-03-at-12.13.33.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-151129\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.ioplus.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Screen-Shot-2018-08-03-at-12.13.33-1024x557.png\" alt=\"industrie Nederland Brabant\" width=\"1024\" height=\"557\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In het rapport &#8220;<em>Het industri\u00eble landschap<\/em>&#8221; staat de regionale spreiding van de industrie centraal. Hierbij wordt ook onderscheid gemaakt tussen de verschillende branches binnen de industrie. Oftewel, waar bevindt zich het hart van branches als de voedingsmiddelenindustrie en de transportmiddelenindustrie?<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_151130\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-151130\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.ioplus.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Screen-Shot-2018-08-03-at-12.13.14.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-151130\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.ioplus.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Screen-Shot-2018-08-03-at-12.13.14-1024x544.png\" alt=\"industrie Nederland Brabant\" width=\"1024\" height=\"544\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-151130\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Het aandeel van de industrie in de economie van een regio is vooral groot in de gebieden buiten de Randstad. Voor de regio\u2019s Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, Zuidoost-Noord-Brabant en Delfzijl en omgeving is de industrie goed voor minimaal een kwart van de toegevoegde waarde die in de regio wordt gerealiseerd.
