The 7th Edition of Dutch Technology Week will start\u00a0next Monday. This year, the focus will be on talent in the broadest sense of the word. For the seventh year in a row, more than 150 high-tech companies, knowledge institutes, and talents are showing the latest trends and innovations in their sector. The Dutch Technology Week will take place from 4 to 9 June 2018.<\/p>\n

\nIn the run-up to the DTW, Frits van Hout (ASML, Chairman of the DTW Board), together with Bente van den Tillaart (SUMMA student) and Michiel Dirckx (TU\/e student) will open AEX Trade Market in Amsterdam.<\/p>\n
\nThe opening\u00a0ceremony of the DTW with breakfast. During the opening FME will launch ‘Upgrade NL<\/em>‘, a programme to make the Netherlands ‘tech wise<\/em>‘ in the broadest sense of the word. In addition, the Brainport Talent & Skills Agreement<\/em> is presented: this agreement, signed by 200 entrepreneurs and managers, contains joint agreements on the development, attraction, and retention of talent (much more on this subject on Monday\u00a0on E52).<\/p>\n
\nThis year, too, there will be a Night Of The Nerds<\/a>: the technology festival for everyone between the ages of 14 and 19 in which the latest digital, technological and media developments can be seen.<\/p>\n
\nOfficial launch Hyperspace Institute<\/a>; the experience gained in recent years with virtual and augmented reality is now\u00a0brought together in the Hyperspace Institute (an association of and for VR and AR professionals).<\/p>\n
\nSix multidisciplinary student teams from Tilburg University, Fontys University of Applied Sciences, TU\/e and Avans University of Applied Sciences present the results of their research into robotic solutions for healthcare.<\/p>\n
\nThe Smarter Life (Slimmer Leven<\/em>) House introduces visitors to the technological possibilities to stay at home longer and independently and to improve care.<\/p>\n
\nThe Quiz Night XL<\/a>! It is not for nothing that this is called the Champions League for connoisseurs in the high-tech sector. The most difficult questions about science and technology.<\/p>\n
\nSports & Technology Session, KempenTech with the Business Relationship Day and the Education Day for Groups 7 & 8 and the meetup of the TU\/e student teams.<\/p>\n
