With the integration of Samsung’s ARTIK services with the Philips Healthsuite Digital Platform, the ecosystem of products and services available to care providers will become broader. Philips and Samsung today announced plans for a strategic partnership that will ultimately allow the Samsung ARTIK ecosystem of connected devices to safely access and share information with Philips\u2019 cloud platform. Healthcare application developers will be able to realize interoperable connected health solutions using integrated data sets and HealthSuite services such as health analytics.<\/p>\n

The new opportunities include integration of devices and device data into Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Personal Health Records (PHR), and advanced health analytics. Healthcare application developers working with the Philips HealthSuite Digital Platform will be able to use data from devices connected to Samsung\u2019s SmartThings Cloud to develop new, data-driven connected health solutions. In addition, they can leverage data from various sources and IoT solutions, like QualcommLife, Validic and Philips\u2019 own HealthSuite IoT solution which is based on Amazon Web Services IoT. Next to this, devices built with ARTIK secure Systems-on-Modules (SOMs) will also be able to integrate with the HealthSuite Digital Platform.<\/p>\n
Philips HealthSuite Digital Platform is an open but secured platform of services, capabilities, and tools designed to enable development of connected health and wellness and healthcare innovations. Samsung\u2019s ARTIK Smart IoT Platform is an open secure platform that provides solutions from hardware systems-on-modules to cloud services.<\/p>\n
