Uber is\u00a0already known in Eindhoven as the\u00a0fiercely competitive taxi service that handles all interaction and payments via an app<\/a>. But as a young company, you shouldn’t focus on just one service and therefore there are also Uber parcel services, there is a meal service and – two days a year – even a Christmas tree service. Last years already in various other cities, but this year for the first time in Eindhoven as well.<\/p>\n

The service does not take place via\u00a0Uber’s “own” taxis. Uber has contracted a third party for the logistics part; in this way, there is no doubt that the trees between 1.75 and 2 meters high fit in the cars. Praxis supplies the trees.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 December, Uber users can order a Christmas tree between 12.00 and 20.00 hrs via the option UberTREES in the Uber app. Just like with a regular Uber ride, the customer follows the route of his tree on the map in the app. For \u20ac30, the customer not only gets a tree but also Christmas cookies via Uber Eats.<\/p>\n
