VDL Bus and Coach opens a new subsidiary in the Spanish capital Madrid. The choice to open a subsidiary in Spain is the continuation of VDL’s strategy to establish a direct presence of the buses & coaches division in the major bus markets in Western Europe. The Spanish bus market is currently undergoing a remarkable boom. After the United Kingdom, Germany, and France, Spain is Europe’s fourth bus and coach market, and it is the second coach market after Germany.<\/p>\n

VDL Bus & Coach Espan\u0303a is led by Anno Dirksen. He spent the past nine years as managing director of VDL Bus & Coach Italia. The core activities of VDL Bus & Coach consist of the development, manufacturing, sales, and after-sales of a wide range of buses, coaches and chassis modules, the conversion or extension of mini & midi buses and the purchase and sales of second-hand buses.
